The French Kicks Announce ‘05 Tour Plans

NYC indie outfit The French Kicks have just announced a series of tour dates to begin January 19 in Seattle. The tour comes in support of their new single/video, the title track to last year’s acclaimed album Trial Of The Century. StarTime International labelmates Dios Malos will be onboard for all dates, except The French Kicks February 17 homecoming gig at the Bowery Ballroom.

In other news, The French Kicks have been nominated for the PLUG Award, which focuses on aesthetic achievement rather than the pop charts. Eligible artists are limited to those which have been independently released. Trial Of The Century is nominated in the Album Of The Year category.
