Paul Westerberg Lines Up West Coast Tour Run

Former Replacements frontman Paul Westerberg has revealed plans for a brief West Coast tour in support of his latest Vagrant release, Folker. The eight-date tour will get underway in Vancouver on February 17 and run through February 26 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. The trek will also include back to back nights at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, on Feb. 22 and 23. According to a post on his website, Westerberg will be backed by His Only Friends, otherwise known as The Painkillers.

Speaking with Billboard, the rock icon revealed that his desire to spend more time at home with his young son has become more important than being out on the road, saying, “It’s slowed down my traveling and it’s made touring or the question of touring more difficult, because he doesn’t like it when I leave and it makes it tough for me.”
