IBS Gears Up For Another Year Of Coast-To-Coast Conferences

Pop quiz: What does a music industry person do in the spring?

a) Drink and hang out
b) Party and go to shows
c) Check out a music conference
d) All the above

If you answered “D” then you should congratulate yourself and get that well deserved bonus. Spring conference time is coming up quick and the folks at IBS, aka the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, are squaring things away for another string of conferences.

For those of you who are out of the loop, IBS is a not for profit educational association and foundation founded in 1940 by Dr. George Abraham, Ph.D. and David W. Borst. The focus of IBS is concentrated on providing insight to college and high school radio stations, TV, and webcasting throughout the country. This year marks the 65th year of the event, with next year adding another city to the itinerary.
