Gwar Can’t Stop Partying

If you were a ghastly looking creature from the Antarctic wastelands, would you: A) Get a makeover, B) Dwell in a frozen cave or C) Freak out humans by shredding some guitar with other frightening creatures. The answer is C, my freaky friends. With names like BalSac the Jaws of Deathand Beefcake the Mighty, you might as well entertain. Who knew evil monsters could rock so hard? Well, this little shtick has lasted for over nine full-length albums and almost two decades of mayhem. Gwar currently announced new dates on their “Mock the Vote” tour, which began in October to support their latest effort, War Party. Recently, the new album hit #5 on CMJ’s Loud Rock Chart and their bloodthirsty fans are roaring. Check to see when these party animals hit your town. Beware, you will get drenched with “blood” if you’re in the crowd and that shit stains.
