The British Music Awards are rapidly approaching and the nominees for this year have been announced. This year celebrates the 25th anniversary of the awards ceremony and is slated to take place February 9 at London’s Earle’s Court.
Highlighted performers will include Franz Ferdinand, U2, Green Day, Keane, and Scissor Sisters. Speaking of Scottish rock outfit Franz Ferdinand, the band is leading the nominations with a total of five. Muse is coming in secound with four nominations.
