Bjork To Release “Army Of Me” Fan Remix Compilation

Bjork fans have yet another release to look forward to, this time in the form of a remix compilation. It seems like only yesterday when her album Post first made its way onto my CD player. It is hard to believe that the album is a decade old. Bjork has been sent tons of fan remixes of the single “Army Of Me” over the past ten years, and has finally decided to let these tracks see the light of day. According to her official site, these mixes range from hi-energy techno to death-metal cover versions. These will be released on a 2-CD album, with the proceeds to be donated to UNICEF.

If you happen to dabble in remixing, or have done a great cover of the song, you can submit the track for inclusion on this album. The deadline is January 17th, with a potential release at the end of February. Here are the instructions for submitting your version of “Army Of Me”:
1. Email remix or cover version to bjorkremixes@gmail.com
2. Include in the email, name of act and contact details: phone and address.
3. Name of mix in subject line of email
4. Make sure track is 128kbs mp3

Bjork.com claims that every track will be listened to, so hop to it!
