Moby Needs Fans For NYC Video Shoot

Are you between the ages of 18 and 25? Better yet, do you look like you are between the ages of 18 and 25? If you happen to fall into that category, want to be in a music video, and are in the NYC area, Moby could use your help. The video shoot is tomorrow, January 13, in NYC. You need to be available for approximately six hours. If this interests you, email Jesse at mobyvideo@hotmail.com for more info.

Speaking of more info, Moby.com has announced a few details about his upcoming album, Hotel. His fifth studio album will be released on March 22, and marks his first record with no vocal samples. His vocals will appear on ten tracks, along with two duets and two instrumentals. The album was recorded in Moby’s apartment, as well as at Electric Lady Studios and Loho Studios. Again, he played every instrument (except live drums), and self-produced the record. Hotel’s songs vary in style, and were described as everything from “quiet instrumentals, to anthems, to downtempo sultry jams, to uplifting electro-disco, to ballads.” Sultry jams? Could Moby be the next Barry White? Guess we will have to wait until March 22 to find out. Bring on the baby making music!
