The lovely lads from London have just announced some tour dates for the US. Bloc Party have been busy these days – playing their biggest shows in the UK, signing to Vice/Atlantic here in the States, getting their first NME cover. We can think back to when evil scientist and Dennis Wilson doppleganger Mark Bowen at Wichita Recordings first told us about the band he had just signed. A few Dim Mak singles later and these guys are poised for great things. Seems like it will be the coasts and select midwest cities of blue America who get to enjoy the show for now, a metaphor for this ominous day.
