U2, Green Day Confirmed For Grammys

The hugest rock band in the world and the godfathers of pop/punk are among the first acts to be confirmed for the 47th annual Grammy Awards. U2 and Green Day are both nominated for awards as well – Green Day is up for six, while U2 is up for three. According to Billbaord, other confirmed performers include country star Tim McGraw and R&B phenomenon Alicia Keys. The Grammy Awards will take place on February 13 at the Staples Center in LA and will be hosted by Queen Latifah. You can catch the action on CBS. You know… if there’s nothing else on.
