Reading/Leeds Festival Headliners Leaked

While the buzz this week has been about a so-so Coachella Festival line-up out there in dusty Indio, CA, the headliners for this year’s three-day Reading/Leeds Festival in the UK were leaked. Start booking your flights now. The first two bands are not so surprising, arena rock staples Foo Fighters and the year’s comeback kids, The Pixies are a good one-two punch. But it’s the third headliner that’s piqued our interest. “Run To The Hills!”. The customary third day of heavy rock has none other than un-ironic mulleteers Iron Maiden on it’s main stage. Shredders unite in a face melting, peach-fuzz mustache-havin’, “devil horn”-throwing mosh! I think they’ll be appearing on the Viagra™ Stage. [I keed]. According to NME.com a festival source said: “They’ve bagged Pixies’ only UK shows next year, and there’s a chance they could be their last ever in Britain. It’s an open secret that Foo Fighters are playing as well.” Reports on whether gigantic stage robot “Eddie” will be joining them have not been confirmed, but let’s keep hope alive.
