Youth Group From Down Under

Epitaph/Anit Records, home of some of our favorites such as Elliott Smith, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and Neko Case have now added the equally compelling Australian band Youth Group to their roster, with their American debut CD, Skeleton Jar to be released on May 24th 2005.

Youth Group are also making a rare visit to the US to perform their first showcase at Spaceland in Los Angeles on February 22nd 2005. If you are anywhere in the vicinity, we advise checking them out while they’re on our side of the world. They’re enticing, eclectic and are sure to impress with songs that are dark, melancholic and glides across varied landscapes of pop, folk & indie rock terrain. We love them.
