It is sad to hear about so many venues closing or having hard times. In yesterday’s New York Post it was said that the legendary CBGB’s might have to close it doors at the current location due to skyrocketing rent. Now, another club in NYC is having problems as well.

New York’s Tonic is in danger of closing and they are also desperately in need of help after a series of unfortunate events. The club has to raise $100,000 in the next few weeks. Luckily, there is going to be a fundraiser for them this coming Monday the 21st with Tarantula and Devendra Banhart on the bill. Tickets are $20.00 and the show starts at 8pm. All proceeds will be going directly to the Tonic relief fund.
