Though still in his 20s, veteran singer/songwriter Ben Lee will release his sixth studio album today through his new label New West. Titled Awake Is The New Sleep, the 14-track album has been getting support on commercial specialty shows since January. To celebrate the release, Ben will play a pair of CD Release shows on both coasts beginning tonight with a gig at LA’s Viper Room. The NYC release party will go down on Thursday (02.24.05) at Tonic.
Ben Lee will then kick it into high gear with a pair of shows in Austin for SXSW, followed by a full-fledged spring tour with Har Mar Superstar. Only a handful of dates have been confirmed thus far, but you can check them out below. We’ll let you know when more dates are announced.
