Words cannot express my excitement over news about the upcoming album from the Dandy Warhols. This brilliant band will be unleashing a brand new record for our listening pleasure at some point in 2005. According to their official website, the album will be titled Odditorium Or Warlords Of Mars. Oh God I love that band. The follow-up to 2003’s Welcome To The Monkey House is currently being mixed and is rumored to be ready for release before this summer.
The Dandy’s have confirmed the name of the first single off their forthcoming release, appropriately titled “Smoke It”. The video was shot a couple of weeks ago, so one would assume that the single should be out before too long. Their website also mentions a DVD project that is still in the works. Speaking of the website, a relaunch should be happening in the next couple of weeks. Keep checking back for more details. Horray for the return of The Dandy Warhols!
