Bob Mould Releases New Album, Tours The World In 2005

Legendary member of Hüsker Dü turned solo artist Bob Mould will release his fifth solo album on July 26 via Yep Roc. Titled Body Of Song, the album is Mould’s first new LP release since 2002 and first since the mid-90s to use a guitar-heavy, full band approach. There are, of course, a couple of acoustic-based ballads as well. Recorded over the course of the past year, the album employs the talents of a few guest musicians, including Brendan Canty (Fugazi), David Barbe (Sugar), Matt Hammon (1998 Bob Mould Band), and Amy Domingues (Garland Of Hours).

This fall, Mould will tour the world in support of Body Of Song, but he’ll be playing songs spanning his entire career – solo, Sugar, and Hüsker Dü. Dates are not available yet, but I do have the track listing for you.

“Circles”
“(Shine Your) Light Love Hope”
“Paralyzed”
“I Am Vision, I Am Sound”

“Always Tomorrow”
“Days Of Rain”
“Best Thing”
“High Fidelity”
“Missing You”
“Surveyors And Cranes”
“Gauze Of Friendship”
“My Old Friend”
“Beating Heart The Prize”
