Sick of your concert schedule being dominated by snot nosed kids who strut around as if they’re the Rolling Stones? Tired of all of the bands you go out to see having a foreign accent (even if they’re from the US and they’re faking it cuz they think it’s cool)? Well then, your prayers have been answered. A pair of old grisly rock outfits will be hitting the road together this summer. Actually, Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers have announced a headlining tour, but according to a spokesperson for the band, the newly reunited Black Crowes will be “special guests” on “many of the dates”. The tour kicks off on June 8 at the Germain Arena in Ft. Myers, FL, and stretches through July 30 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. There IS an August 26 one-off show at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA as well.

The specific dates that will feature The Black Crowes are still a mystery, but when we hear more, we’ll let you know. For now, here’s what we know:
