Radiohead Debuts New Song

If only I had been in London on Sunday evening! Jonny Greenwood and Thom Yorke debuted a brand new song together at the Royal Festival Hall. According to NME, the Radiohead masterminds performed “Arpeggi” along with the London Sinfonietta. The new song was “delicate-sounding” and featured ocean-themed lyrics. They also performed “There There” b-side “Where Bluebirds Fly”. During this song Yorke and Greenwood were joined by the Nazareth Orchestra, adding an Arabic influence to the b-side.

The orchestra also performed two classical compositions written by Greenwood, “Smear” and “Piano For Children”. For those of you lucky enough to be near London, the performance will be repeated again tonight. Does anybody have an extra ticket and some money for my flight?
