Up and coming band The Cloud Room is gearing up for the release of their self-titled debut album on Gigantic Music. The record hits stores on April 19, but they are celebrating earlier with their NYC release party tonight. The concert is presented by KEXP and features performances by Mark Gardner (from Ride), The Comas, Shelby and Human Television. The show is happening at Rothko, with doors opening at 7:30pm. The weather is getting warmer, the sun is staying out longer, and the perfect record for spring is almost out. If you are in the NYC area tonight, roll down to Rothko and check them out for yourself. It’ll be an ass-shaking good time.
Later this week, KEXP will be hosting a live performance from The Cloud Room at the Museum Of Television And Radio. The short set will take place this Friday at 2pm.
