After launching the “comeback of the year” in 2004 (according to SPIN) and selling out shows all across the world, The Pixies have announced another round of tour dates for 2005. The spring tour will kick off on May 26 in Portland with two shows (6pm & 10pm) and will hit theaters and outdoor venues across the nation, including the Warfield Theater in San Francisco, The Wiltern in LA and Red Rocks amphitheater in Denver. These dates will also include stops at the Sasquatch Festival in George, WA, the CMJ Rock Hall Music Fest in Cleveland, OH, and the Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta. Dates are currently scheduled through June 14 at Jones Beach on Long Island, but more stops will be announced soon. Stay tuned.
