Y100 FEZtival Lives On

What happens when corporate idiots take away the only alternative radio station in town? You follow in the footsteps of the Y100 crew and keep it alive online. Not only is the great programming of Jim McGuinn still rocking, but they have decided to keep another part of the station going as well: the Y100 FEZtival.

Yes, the Y100rocks.com crew has given “the man” the finger and is keeping their annual concert alive. The FEZtival at Festival Pier in Philly will take place on Sunday, May 15. Artists performing include Garbage, Interpol, The Bravery and a special guest. Tickets for the event go on sale this coming Saturday at 10am EST through Ticketmaster. A portion of the proceeds of the event will go to Friends Of The Free Library Of Philadelphia.

In other upcoming Y100rocks.com events, catch an interview with Brendan Benson tomorrow at 6:30pm. Taking Back Sunday will be in-studio at 2pm on Friday and a radio takeover with Muse happens sometime on Monday the 18th.
