UK music prodigy Matt Hales (aka Aqualung) has just announced a series of North American tour dates in support of his Red Ink/Columbia Records debut, Strange And Beautiful. Kicking off today with a performance at the Amoeba Records store on Sunset Boulevard in LA, the 14-date tour will hit major markets across the US before wrapping up at the Drake Hotel in Toronto on May 13.
Strange And Beautiful has received a hefty helping of praise from the press as of late and the single “Brighter Than Sunshine”, besides pulling in substantial airplay at commercial specialty radio, will be the lead single from the new film A Lot Like Love. The film, which stars Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher, is in theaters today.
