Stars Sign On To Headline Northsix Sudan Benefit

Montreal-based up-and-coming act Stars have just signed on to headline tonight’s benefit show at the Northsix in Brooklyn. Joining previously announced acts Kevin Devine, Jeffrey Lewis and The Fatales, Stars are doing their part to make a positive impact on the world around them.

As we reported here last week, some local Brooklyn bands are teaming up with the Northsix for a concert to benefit the Save Darfur Coalition, Human Rights Watch and Doctors Without Borders. In addition to donating proceeds from the concert to these relief organizations, the bands involved hope to raise awareness of the genocide happening in the Darfur region of Sudan.

Doors open at 8PM tonight at Northsix. The show starts at 9PM. Tickets are 10 bucks in advance, 12 bucks at the door.
