With bands like Fischerspooner and Ladytron having follow-up albums coming out within the last year, it should be no surprise that fellow electronic duo from Detroit, ADULT., is releasing something new as well. For those not familiar with ADULT., it is an outfit comprised of Adam Lee Miller and Nicola Kuperus. They have finally released their first collection of songs for Thrill Jockey about two weeks ago, and are planning to release their follow-up to 2003’s Anxiety Always on October 11.
If you are curious about the new material, or want to see some old favorites then you are in luck. The band has announced a tour that starts tonight for North America, and will wrap up in Europe. For the North American dates ADULT. will be accompanied by Gold Chains and Sue Cie and Genders. ADULT.’s site also claims that there are more dates in the works for this summer.
