New Pornographers To Drop New Album This Summer

On August 23, Vancouver-based indie pop stand outs the New Pornographers will release their third studio album via Matador. Dubbed Twin Cinema, the 14-track album is the follow-up to 2003’s Electric Vision. According to Billboard, group member Carl Newman’s teenage niece Kathryn Calder makes a guest appearance on the album and will also be joining the touring incarnation of the group when they begin their summer tour on June 23 in Hoboken, NJ. As of now, only four dates have been confirmed (see below).

For fans who are dying to hear new New Pornographers music, you can check out the title track from Twin Cinema on the band’s official website.
