Tired of not finding something to listen to? Bored with regular radio so you find yourself tuning to internet radio sites to hear what you want to hear instead of crappy cock rock? Luckily for those of you out there in this situation there is some good news. Fans of the hit TV show The Office (yes the REAL UK one… not the American knock off) will be happy with the following news.
Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are planning to return to the airwaves May 28 at 1pm on XFM. For those of you who don’t know, Ricky and Stephen started out on XFM before creating The Office. The duo recently finished up their work on their new sitcom, Extras, and will be on-air on XFM for six weeks. Alongside them will be their producer/sidekick ”The K Man” Pilkington.
Andy Ashton, XFM’s PD, said: “Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are great friends of the station and we are incredibly grateful, that as busy as they are, they can still find time to return to XFM and reunite with K-Man for another run on Saturday afternoons.”
