Long time favorite label Astralwerks have announced a new partership with indie cool DFA Records. It should come as no surprise that this would happen as both Astralwerks and DFA are almost one in the same with the quality of electronic music that they both put out.
Astralwerks GM Errol Kolosine commented: “We’ve all been huge fans of everything DFA have produced – for us its a dream come true to bring our expertise to their exceptional vision and style. Astralwerks has worked with only a few labels to this extent in our 12 year history and DFA boasts an A&R and production aesthetic we feel truly excited about embracing completely.”
The dynamic duo will be releasing several projects this year including new tunes from The Juan Maclean, Delia Gonzalez and Gavin Russom and Black Dice. In addition there will be the traditional DFA vinyl releases that will be put out as well. Sounds good to us!
