FINALLY!!! Nada Surf Album Details

After seemingly a million years of anticipation, Nada Surf has finally announced plans for the release of their fourth studio album. Called The Weight Is A Gift, the follow-up to 2003’s incredibly amazing Let Go will hit streets on September 20 through Barsuk. Produced by Death Cab For Cutie’s Chris Walla, the new album was recorded at John Vanderslice’s Tiny Telephone studios in San Francisco and Walla’s Hall Of Justice studios in Seattle. Though I’ve yet to actually hear any music, folks at the label have been going gaga over the demos for months now and saying things like, “oh man, wait ’till you hear the new stuff. You’re gonna freak out.” Well I’m sick of waiting! But wait I must, sadly.

Nada Surf will tour the US following the release of the album, and of course, we will give you the heads up as soon as we get some details.
