Thom Yorke Speaks About New Album

Yes, this is the second Radiohead news story this week. Mind boggling, isn’t it? We already know that the band is back at work on their follow-up to 2003’s Hail To The Thief, but no real news from the group has been released about the direction of the music. Thom Yorke has broken his silence in a recent interview with NME.

Yorke didn’t say much, which isn’t a surprise, but he has commented that the sessions remind him of working on Kid A. He said: “It’s going well. It’s a bit like Kid A – we’re going through a period of change. But that’s good. We’ll get there.”

Sadly, there isn’t much other information yet. The album isn’t due out until next year, so we have plenty of waiting to do. A few of the songs rumored to be possibilities for the new record include “House Of Cards”, “Glass Flowers”, “Reckoner” and “Arpeggi”.
