Brendan Benson Hacks Into KROCK2

Although hacking into a website is normally considered a bad thing, KROCK2 is encouraging it… sort of. The online-only bastard stepchild of New York’s K-ROCK has launched a new show called Hack’d, where artists take over the station to play whatever they want. Brendan Benson will host this new show tonight at 8pm EST. Louis XIV will kick it Hack’d-style tomorrow. Click here to head on over to KROCK2.

In other Benson related news (the artist, not the TV show), his summertime tour will be kicking off on July 16th at the Siren Festival in NYC. The tour runs through August 8th in Chicago. Check out the tour dates below.

Finally, go snag yourself a free musical treat from NME. Until June 27th, you can download a live version of “Spit It Out” from a performance on KEXP. You just can’t go wrong with free music from Brendan Benson.
