Voodoo Music Experience Lineup Announced

The lineup for this year’s Voodoo Music Experience has been announced. Nine Inch Nails had already been revealed as the headliner, which is reason enough to snag tickets when they go on sale July 8. You can now add Queens Of The Stone Age, My Chemical Romance, the Flaming Lips, Billy Idol, the New York Dolls, Secret Machines, DJ Tiesto, the Bravery, Ryan Adams and Mickey Hart’s Voodoo Drum Circle to the bill.

Think that is it? Hell no! LCD Soundsystem, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Death From Above 1979, Brazilian Girls, Carl Cox, Louis XIV, Social Distortion, the Decemberists, VHS Or Beta and Digable Planets are also slated to perform. You read that right, Digable Planets! Prepare to get your groove on to “Rebirth Of Slick”. Uh, yeah. The festival will take place October 29-30 at New Orleans’ City Park. Two days of rock & roll debauchery in the Big Easy! Get your plastic cups ready to be filled with hurricanes, and don’t forget a few bottles of aspirin for the morning after.
