So how do you choose the replacement for the self-proclaimed King Of All Media? With Howard Stern’s show moving to Sirius Satellite Radio in January 2006, some awfully big shoes need to be filled in that coveted morning drive airshift. Who would make the perfect big shot morning show host? An established radio DJ? A new, innovative morning team? A sharp-witted comedian? Diamond Dave? Hell yes!
Rumors are slowing pointing fingers towards David Lee Roth as the replacement for Howard Stern. Although Infinity Broadcasting isn’t commenting on this as of yet, SteppingOutMagazine.com is reporting that Diamond Dave has been signed on. The gigantic radio corporation has made it clear that they will not have one only person dropped in as the Stern replacement, but it does look like the former Van Halen frontman will possibly be one of those replacements.
Diamond Dave is no stranger to the airwaves, after brief stunts on KLSX and WZLX. There is no doubt that Roth has the outrageous personality of a radio superstar in the making. So could he pull off a complete morning show five days a week? Who knows, but I am mighty curious.
