The Dears To Debut New Video On MySpace

Remember back when MySpace was just the bastard stepchild of Friendster? Who would have predicted that it would grow to become a thriving online community as well as a place to discover new music. Established bands and new artists alike have embraced the promotional opportunities found within the MySpace world. Now bands are using this online community as a new place to debut material, rather than going to traditional broadcast outlets. A prime example of this is The Dears. Want to see the premier of their brand new video? spinART Records will be debuting “22: The Death Of All The Romance” on MySpace starting July 13th and running through July 17th.

The video is a unique mix of animation and concert footage, pieced together by the renowned production house Kinoceros. Simon Raymonde of the Cocteau Twins remixed the song, which will be available only on vinyl and online. The video debuts just a few days before their performance at this year’s Siren Festival on July 16th.
