As previously mentioned, Los Angeles’ Silversun Pickups, or SSPU, are gearing up for the release of their debut EP for Dangerbird. Titled Pikul, the EP is a tribute to a dear friend of theirs who passed away and covers a range of emotional feelings. In recent news, the band will be performing a month long residency at Spaceland. The first night will take place August 3 and will also feature Jonneine Zapta, Sabrosa Purr, Revolution Smile and Last Amanda. Doors are at 7:30pm and Silversun Pickups will take the stage at 10:45pm. Also, don’t forget to about the instore that they are doing at SeaLevel Records in honor of the release of Pikul, starting at 9pm.
