Bauhaus May Begin Work On New Album

The announcement of a classic alternative group reuniting for a tour has become fairly commonplace as of late. The Pixies, Dinosaur Jr., pseudo-Suede (in the form of The Tears), and now you can add the legendary goth quartet Bauhaus to the list. Fortunately, this is looking to be more than just a reunion tour, which we saw back in 1998 with their Resurrection Tour. This time we may actually get a new album!

In an interview on BBC 6, frontman Peter Murphy said: “I’ve actually been working on reforming the band for the last year. It’s come to the point now that we are going to tour here [in the UK] in the winter and do a world tour and an album.”

As a devoted fan of both Peter Murphy and Bauhaus, the thought of hearing new material from the band makes for the perfect end to our workweek. Welcome back Bauhaus!
