Iron & Wine Announce Fall Tour With Calexico

Iron & Wine and Calexico will release a new EP on September 20 that finds the latter backing up I&W main man Sam Beam on seven previously unreleased tracks. Called In The Reins, the EP will be released through Overcoat Recordings. In support of that EP, Beam and Calexico will hit the road together for a series of tour dates this fall. The first leg of dates have been announced and begin October 15 in Tucson, AZ. A second leg is expected to tackle the East Coast in November. Until then, here’s what we can tell you:

10.29.05 – Ft. Worth, TX (Ridglea Theatre)
10.30.05 – Austin, TX (Stubb’s BBQ)
