Robbie Williams Says “No” To America

Bring out the tissues, as it is a sad, sad day for women everywhere in North America. British pop sensation Robbie Williams has announced that he will not be releasing his new album, Intensive Care, in the United States. With no album coming out in the US, that means no tour. The reason? He is simply tired of trying to crack the US charts. The man that is credited as the destroyer of Britpop (I still heart him) has sold over 38 million solo albums in the UK since 1996, but has failed to make anything near that happen stateside. Contactmusic.com reported that Robbie stated, “The only way one of my albums is going to get into an Los Angeles record store is if I leave it there myself.” Looks like us girls are going to have to get our grubby little hands on an import.
