Remember Harvey Danger? Yeah, you know the band with the guy that looked like he could be the younger bastard stepson of Drew Carey? Well on September 13 the once indie-cred cool band (their last album had Ben Gibbard and Tae Won Yu) will be releasing their third record, Little By Little…. on their own Phonographic Records. It was produced by Steve Fisk and sounds a lot more mellow than before, according to Tiny Mixtapes. The limited edition release will also have a bonus disc chock-full o’ outtakes, alternate versions and unreleased material.
In addition to the new album that they are putting out themselves, the band will be going on a brief tour of, um, Seattle. Finally, the lads are also planning on releasing an EP on Kill Rock Stars on November 8 called Cream And Bastards Rise. Is this the start of a new relationship? Maybe so and maybe not. In the meantime check out the new CD and if you are in Seattle see them live.
