CMJ 2005 is almost upon us and you know what that means, right? The FADER will be throwing a killer party. Actually, no. Not just one party. The FADER and your favorite late night TV network, [adult swim], have teamed up for THREE days of music, drinks and fun in the Big Apple. Called “Project”, the vacant space-turned party headquarters will be situated at 175 Orchard St. (between Stanton & Rivington). While there, guests will be treated to performances from some of the best upcoming bands on the planet, DJ sets from the likes of Ladytron, Dim Mak’s Steve Aoki and producer extraordinaire Paul Epworth, and of course, free Red Stripe. The best part is, you’re all invited. That’s right, every Tripwire member is cordially invited to stop by and hang out. The entire Tripwire staff will be on hand all day, so come over and say hi. We’ll be wearing name tags (no not really, just ask around).
