The dates are finally here! The Dandy Warhols’ 2005 North American tour is ready to roll, which will begin in Seattle on November 14. The month-long trek is in support of their fifth full-length album, Odditorium Or Warlords Of Mars. Joining them will be The Out Crowd, who have recently completed their new album Then I Saw The Holy City. Fronted by former Brian Jonestown Massacre member Matthew Michael Hollywood, you can read more about the band at Kora Records’ official website. Before they hit the road, the band will make a pit stop to record a performance for Fox’s Mad TV on October 1. It should be safe to assume that they will perform the album’s lead single, “Smoke It”.
In other Dandy-related news, you will soon be able to purchase “The Dandy Warhol Boot”. The classic-styled leather boot, co-designed by Courtney Taylor-Taylor and John Fluevog, will be available in stores by the end of next month by John Fluevog Shoes.
