Katrina Benefit Concert At NYC’s Bowery Ballroom

NYC music fans have yet another opportunity to enjoy some great music while helping out victims of Hurricane Katrina. On Monday, October 3rd at the Bowery Ballroom, a handful of musicians are getting together to help raise money for the Salvation Army. This includes a special acoustic performance from Sufjan Stevens, which should be more than enough of a reason to get off your sofa and down to the Bowery. Other performers include Adam Green and Akron/Family. Advance tickets are $20, or you can buy them at the door for $25. Click here for more information,
