The Magic Numbers have been ruling the airwaves and the pages of the press in the UK for a quite a while. Their eyes are now fixed on spreading their songs of heartache and encouragement to North America, with their self-titled debut album hitting our shores on October 4th.
The brother/sister and brother/sister group of Romeo and Michele Gannon, and Sean and Angela Gannon, will be taking their music on the road here in the States starting on October 30th. During their trek through the US, they will make a pit stop for their American television debut on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, which will air on November 30th.
Since their 2003 debut in the UK, they have shared the stage with Brian Wilson, U2, Saint Etienne, Travis, Doves and plenty of others. Our UK correspondent Jim Raymond gave us the heads up on this album earlier this year, and their performance during SXSW permanently put The Magic Numbers on our radar.
