Austin City Limits Steps Up In Season 31

So the ACL Festival has come and gone this year but for those of you that were not able to make it out to the 109-degree weather, fear not. Austin City Limits will be kicking off the 31st season of their PBS series on October 8 with thirteen new episodes. Over the last 30 years, Austin City Limits has had more than 600 acts on stage including genres from R&B, Rock, Jazz and Alternative. Performer Jack Johnson states that, “Everyone involved in Austin City Limits puts music first, which makes it one of the rare shows that really capture the feel of a band at an energetic, live performance. It’s a thrill to be invited to perform on such a legendary show.” Season 31 will feature the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Rilo Kiley, Spoon, Ben Folds, The Killers, and more. It also promises to continue to focus on presenting quality artists in an intimate concert setting. Below are the details on each episode, so be sure and set up those DVRs!

In addition to the TV broadcasts, ACL now also offers CDs and DVDs of performances from past sessions via New West Records. Want more information on Austin City Limits? Click here.
