Morrissey Shines Light On New Album

Stop the presses! The one and only Morrissey, or Steven Patrick as us cool kids call him, has officially released more information regarding his new album. The new LP will be titled Ringleader Of The Tormentors and will be released on his own Attack Records in early 2006. As of right now production is underway with Tony Visconti (T. Rex, David Bowie) rather than the originally named producer Jeff Saltzman. They should be done recording in Rome by November 1. In addition, Marco Origel is slated to engineer the new record.

What’s that? There is more? Yes, Morrissey himself says that the album is “the most beautiful—perhaps the most gentle, so far.” With this new development The Tripwire guesses that that means a remix of “Satan Rejected My Soul” will fail to appear on the new album. Let the countdown begin!
