Dangerbird Records’ newest signing, Sabrosa Purr, are doing things a little different. Fully embracing the time of the internet, the band officially released their debut EP, Music From The Violet Room, online only through iTunes and other digital download sites. If you are not familiar with the Los Angeles band then listen up. They sound kind of like a cross between Nirvana and Sigur Ros teaming up with Pink Floyd. Confused? We aren’t. Just pick it up and check it out. In addition to the EP release, the band is playing a few dates in the Los Angeles area this month. This includes a residency at the Silverlake Lounge and a show at Joshua Tree. Then in November the group will be going on the road with The Revolution Smile.
