The M’s Next In Line For Schubas’ “Practice Space”

Chicago rock & roll darlings The M’s have just signed themselves up for Schubas’ special residency program, “Practice Space”. The program features the same band every Monday night for a month, giving them a chance to try out new material and interact with friends in an intimate, friendly environment. Past “Practice Space” alumni include Rachael Yamagata, The Changes, The Sun and Kevin Tihista, among others.

The M’s month-long stint of Monday night gigs will begin on November 28 with a co-headlining performance alongside fellow Chicagoans Baby Teeth and will stretch through December 19, after which the The M’s will take some time off for the holidays before embarking on a North American tour in mid-February.

The “Practice Space” residency comes in support of The M’s forthcoming Polyvinyl Records debut, Future Women, which is set to drop on February 21, 2006.

The band will be performing a different set each night and will undoubtedly be testing out much of their new material, so as The M’s are one of the city’s premier live performers, each show is sure to be a unique and exciting one.

See you there.
