Iron & Wine, Calexico Announce Leg Two Of Fall Tour

Indie rock stand-outs Iron & Wine and Calexico are wrapping up the first leg of their partnering fall tour on October 30 in Austin, TX, having already traveled throughout the West Coast and Southwest. Apparently, the pleas of fans in the rest of the nation have been heard, as the two bands have just announced a second round of tour dates together.

Beginning November 30 in Washington, DC, leg two will take Iron & Wine and Calexico across the Midwest and East Coast, hitting major markets along the way (including three nights at NYC’s Webster Hall) before wrapping up on December 14 in Louisville.

The tour comes in support of In The Reins, a recently released EP in which Calexico acts as a backing band for Iron & Wine. As with the first leg of the tour, each band will play a set on their own and then the two will team up to play In The Reins in its entirety. Not too shabby, eh?
