WFMU Hosts Record Fair This Weekend

New York/New Jersey freeform station, 91.1 WFMU, is hosting another spectacular record and CD fair starting tomorrow. Next to the on-air marathon, this fair is the biggest fundraising event that the station has. Lasting from November 4-6, you too can join thousands of other WFMU fans from around the world checking out over 200 dealers for those hard to find collectors pieces. The record fair will be host to everything from LPs, CDs and 45s, in addition to live acts playing (including DMBQ, King Coleman & The Creepy T’s, Slavic Soul Party!, and Super Karaoke Fun Time Band). If that wasn’t all, the station plans to have food and frosty beverages as well.

The “Record Convention” takes place at the Metropolitan Pavilion, located at 125 West 18th Street in New York City. Admission is $5.00 per day, or $20.00 for a weekend pass that also will get you in earlier on Friday at 4pm. Also, if you want to save some a few dollars on the entrance fee (to use on that limited edition picture disc vinyl), check out the discount admission ads in New York Press, Time Out and The Onion. Be sure and check out WFMU for more information. Happy hunting!

WFMU Record Fair Times:
November 4 – 7pm to 10pm (Early pass will get you in at 4pm)
November 5 – 10am to 7pm
November 6 – 10am to 7pm
