Marilyn Manson Gets Hitched, No Other Title Needed

Ah, the beautiful people. The portrait of an American family, Marilyn Manson and Heather Sweet (AKA: burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese) were married this weekend. The wedding was in front of a meer 60 guests in Castle Gurteen, at a friend’s home located in Kilsheelan, County Tipperary.

The couple became engaged in their Los Angeles home back in March of 2004, and this is the first wedding for both. According to People Magazine, Manson wore a black silk taffeta tuxedo and Von Teese was in royal purple silk taffeta with a corset. They were married in a non-denominational ceremony conducted by underground filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky, a friend of Manson.

Now only one question remains. The Tripwire wonders if they had “Cake and Sodomy” at the reception. OK, that was a cheap shot…but that’s what you get when you title one of your songs by that name. Congrats Marilyn and Dita!
