Arctic Monkeys To Release Album In February

The Arctic Monkeys have been in the UK spotlight for months now. It has been impossible to hide from the hype behind this young group of lads. After catching their NYC set at the Bowery Ballroom a few weeks ago, we finally got to see first hand why these dudes are being labeled as the next big thing.

Domino released their single “I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor” in the US to help wet our appetites, leaving us hungry for more. The main course if finally on its way, as their full-length album has been given the domestic release date of February 21. The band announced that the album now has a title, which is Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not.

The album will be preceded by their next single, “When The Sun Goes Down”, which will be released on January 24. Will ’06 be the year of the Arctic Monkeys? We won’t have to wait long to find out.
