The United Sounds Of ATP Reveals Partial Lineup

With the holiday shopping season in full gear, I am sure many of you are wondering what to get me. Well, you can now add a plane ticket to the UK in May, as next spring’s United States of ATP (All Tomorrow’s Parties) festival is going to be pretty kick ass. It will be held May 12-14 and May 19-21 at Camber Sands in East Sussex, England.

A different band is currently scheduled to curate each day, with bands including Dinosaur Jr. (subbing for Ween), the Shins, Sleater-Kinney, Devendra Banhart, Mudhoney and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs all ready to go.

The festival’s official website is started to list the performers for each day, with a mighty cool lineup so far. For Mudhoney’s day, they have Black Mountain, David Dondero, the Scientists and Comets On Fire. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs will have TV On The Radio, Liars, Celebration, Ex-Models and the Blood Brothers. Wrapping up the first weekend will be Banhart’s picks, including Bat For Lashes, the Metallic Falcons, Vetiver, Espers and Jana Hunter.

As for the second weekend, the Shins have decided on hosting the New Pornographers, and Sleater-Kinney has lined up the Gossip and comedian David Cross. As more bands are added to the event, we will keep you posted. For more info, click here.
